Collaborative Teaching and Learning!

Ms. Hunt is expounding on the women artists and discussing the research with our combined classes.
These are slides from Taylor's mulimedia project on Sofonisba Anguissola. Students had to find, download and edit photos to illustrate their program.

Women Artists Inquiry-based Multimedia Project

The Women Artists Project was a student-centered, inquiry-based collaboration between the Art Teacher, Meadow Hunt and I in March 2006. We combined our two classes and Ms. Hunt presented a multimedia show on a number of women artists, while I demonstrated methods of internet research, citing online sources and using PowerPoint. Students chose an artist or to compare two artists, and did research on the internet and in the library and created multimedia presentations based on their research. They presented their projects to the classes at the end.

The images above are from a presentation comparing Kay Sage and Maria Martinez by Aaron.
